Clinique Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Trio Palette is a new blush, bronzer, and highlighter palette that launched for Spring 2019 which contains three full-size powders. If you recall Clinique the Get Cheeky Palette which everyone loved not only because it was a great value but also, because the formula is so fab. I fell in love with the Cheek Pop Blush formula when it launched a few years ago (It was also part of my Spring 2014 Blush Hit List). I wouldn’t be adverse to Clinique possibly revamping the line with a shimmer finish version! Anyone with me on that?! I’d buy them all!

Let’s check out my review of the Clinique Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Trio Palette below!

Originally the Cheek Pop Blushes were 0.12 oz in size and $21 dollars each when they launched in 2014. The size is the same however, the price is now $24 each which makes the Clinique Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Trio Palette an excellent deal as this contains three 0.12 oz powders. Granted, this doesn’t contain three blushes the way the Get Cheeky Palette did however, it’s still an excellent deal at $29.50 for three full-size powders! Speaking of which, I would have liked the Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Palette a little more if it was all blushes as this contains a bronzer and a highlighter which I feel will see a little less use than a blush would. None the less, it’s a good versatile palette all around if you do like to highlighter, bronze, and blush!

The palette arrives in a cute pink plastic daisy decorated compact which has no mirror. The mirror would make the compact look prettier but I likely wouldn’t use it anyway so, it’s not a terribly big issue for me! The palette contains Ginger Pop Blush which has been released in a full-size prior. You’ll want to check your stash if you’re a fan of the Cheek Pop formula as you may already own! It also contains a Bronzer in Sunkissed Pop and a Highlighter in Pearl Pop. As far as I know the Cheek Pop formula has never been available in a highlighter or bronzer before so Clinique might be using this palette as a launching pad for those products. If that’s the case, I suspect we’ll see Cheek Pop Highlighter and Bronzer launching for Summer 2019.

These powders have a very smooth, dense texture! I remember trying them for the first time and being a bit terrified that I wouldn’t be able to pick up color. And that is in fact the case with the highlighter. I struggled a little getting it onto my brush and kept swirling and swirling to get the color to transfer to my brush. I experienced no such issue with the bronzer or the blush though. Both had the same dense texture but still had a very silky and easy to blend formula. The bronzer was particularly easy to work with. It yielded just the right amount of color without overdoing things and built easily should I want to add more warmth to my look! I started swirling in the highlighter and the blush to get a glowy finish and this seemed to best technique to use the highlighter.

I think the density of the powders works your favor since it isn’t powdery and produces a more natural look on cheeks. There is not excess powder to cling to drier areas and the color just applies smoothly and flawless every single time. It’s a formula that’s easy to apply, blend, and wear and doesn’t fade quickly over time either. The color wears for several hours without fading issues.

As I said above, I’d have liked to see three blushes in this palette versus the highlighter and bronzer as I feel like I’d get more use of the blushes! But all in all, the Clinique Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Trio Palette is an easy way to get a warm glow and fairly affordable too!

Where to buy

Sephora

Clinique Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Trio Palette is a new trio that contains a full-size bronzer, highlighter, and blush (0.12 oz each) for $29.50. These powders have a dense, firm, smooth to the touch texture that appears dry but actually applies flawlessly. I struggled picking up the highlighter a little bit with my brush and did have to build quite a bit using it but the blush and bronzer both had a silky texture on my skin that wasn’t powdery which gave a very smooth, flawless finish! Overall, it’s an excellent value that adds warmth, color, and a pop of glow to your cheeks for Spring!

Pros
